Inspired by Francis of Assisi, St Benedict the Moor Parish is a table set for all who hunger for the nourishment of the gospel. We welcome and nurture the gifts of our urban community. We call upon the Spirit to help us build a just and peaceful world.
We celebrate "God Among Us" with all people.
At St. Benedict, the St. Vincent de Paul Society visits the homes of those who need special help with their everyday needs
We have many ways to get "plugged in" to St. Benedict Parish including a variety of councils and committees.
St Ben’s is a member congregation of Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH) is a multi-racial, interfaith organization committed to addressing justice issues that have an impact on the community and on the members of MICAH congregations.
St. Ben’s Community Meal site serves a hot, home-made dinner six nights a week, Sunday to Friday, 5:15 – 6:30 pm.
An oasis in the midst of the courts, a state prison, and the Milwaukee County Jail, St. Ben’s is a welcoming, safe place for those involved in the criminal justice system.
Prayer Chain & Music Ministry are vital parts to our parish community.
St. Benedict the Moor Parish holds multiple special liturgical celebrations throughout the year.
